Born in Canton, China, Mu moved to the US when she was seven years old. Mu was raised in New Jersey and got a mathematics degree in the 70’s. At the time she had no interest in food but rather followed a path in computer engineering. Mu quickly became a wood worker, got married, and had her only child. Cooking soon became her escape. Following her completion of culinary school (CIA) Mu moved to San Francisco for one year before moving to Santa Fe. Her specialty is Italian and French cuisine. However, Mu fell into Asian cuisine and found her calling in life. Never in her wildest dreams did she think that someday she would own an Asian restaurant. Food is Mu’s passion and is the most remarkable and rewarding experience for her
